Goomba (known as Little Goomba in SMB Utility) is a common enemy in the Mario series. They make their debut in Super Mario Bros. released for NES in 1985. Since then, they've made an appearance in nearly every Mario game, as enemies or allies.

Trivia

• Jimmy Pegorino from the game GTA IV makes a reference to the Goomba saying this quote: We ain't a real family to them - just a bunch of Guernsey goombas!
